Laboratory:
Laboratory attendance is required. All physics 2211 laboratory sessions are held in Room 210-NSC. Lab will start the week of August 24.  For more information, see Lab Web and Lab Introduction.

Homework:
  A list of homework problems for each chapter is suggested. Go to 'MasteringPhysics', to get assignment Course ID is MPZHOU09FMW, you are required to enter the Course ID when you register for MasteringPhysics for the first time. When you enter the MasteringPhysics, you will find the homework assignment in the 'assignment list'. I will do e-grade in this semester. 
Solutions to the homework problems will be posted on the web-site after due date. 
Several problems will also be worked out in class.
Students are very strongly advised to work through the homework problems
Students encountering difficulties can seek assistance during office hours.
 
Exam:
Three tests will be given in class as shown on the course schedule. Each test  will take whole class time.
A two-hour comprehensive final exam will be given on Dec. 7th (Monday) from 5:00 pm. No make-up will be given without prior arrangement.
Withdrawal from Class:
Students who withdraw before the midpoint deadline (Oct.15, Thur.) will receive a grade of "W".  Students who withdraw after that date will receive a grade of  "WF". 
Final Grades:
The final course grade for each student will be calculated as follows:
Homework 20 %
Quizzes 5 %
Three tests 30 %
Final Exam 20 %
Lab grade 25 %
TOTAL 100%
