Research Opportunities for Graduate Students

Most of our graduate students are currently on research assistantships.
To be considered, request assistantship during the application process

 

Research Opportunities for Undergraduate Students

Several positions are available for undergraduate students to get an exposure to do research supported 
by National Science Foundation. There is a small stipend based on experience in accordance with NSF guidelines.
 The work can include several areas.

Physics Program

Computer related projects

    This will include document preparation, Autocad Drawing, Computer programming, including IEEE-488 interfacing.

    Low Temperature Measurements & Data Analysis

    Help in research data gathering associated with on going low temperature optoelectronic device measurements.
    Help in Analyzing Data related to Infrared Detectors and Neural Networks.

    Biophysics Related Research

    Assistantships related to Neuroscience (under the Brains & Behavior Program) and also related to Molecular Basis of Disease (MBD) Program may
