Polarization Study of J/Psi Particle from PHENIX Experiment at RHIC

J/Psi particle is a bound state of charm and anti-charm quark. The yeilds of this particle has been regarded as one of the key signatures for the existance of Quark-Gluon Plasma(QGP) from the relastic heavy ion collisions(RHIC). The study of J/Psi polarization provides a critical test of this charmonium production mechanism. In this talk, the current status of J/Psi polarization study from PHENIX (Pioneering High Energy Nuclear Interaction Experiment) at RHIC is presented. .
